Luxury Retail & Brand Florist in San Diego

Boutique windows, in-store programs, and brand events from La Jolla to downtown, from a studio a few minutes away.

CHIC Flowers designs florals for luxury retail and brand events across San Diego from our downtown studio: boutique windows and standing in-store programs along La Jolla's Prospect Street and Girard Avenue, in the luxury wings of Westfield UTC and Fashion Valley, and in the Gaslamp and East Village; launch and client-preview florals; and brand dinners at the coastal resorts from Coronado to Del Mar. Because San Diego is our home market, refreshes, same-day fixes, and last-minute additions are a short drive rather than a scheduling exercise.

Luxury retail in San Diego

San Diego's luxury retail is spread across a village and two centers rather than one avenue. La Jolla's Prospect Street and Girard Avenue hold the boutiques, jewelers, and galleries where ocean light and a walking clientele reward windows that change with the season. Westfield UTC's open-air luxury wing and Fashion Valley's designer court draw the regional shopper, and downtown's hotels and the Gaslamp host the brand events.

The retail here is intimate by Los Angeles standards, which suits a florist's work: a single well-built window on Prospect Street is seen by the same neighbors, visitors, and clients week after week, so the program matters as much as the launch.

Windows and in-store programs

We design windows to the glass and the current collection, build on our own structures, and install before opening or after close. Inside, a standing program dresses the entrance, the cash wrap, and the private salon, rotated weekly in the collection's palette. For La Jolla's smaller storefronts we keep installations tight and sculptural so they read from the sidewalk without crowding the merchandise; at the centers we confirm what management permits for windows and thresholds before designing.

Launches, previews, and activations

A San Diego launch usually combines an in-store hero installation and product-display florals with an after-hours client preview, and sometimes a pop-up or activation at one of the centers or in a downtown hotel. We design it as one concept in the brand's palette, keep unreleased product and dates confidential, and strike before the next opening. Being local, we can also hold a small reserve of fresh material at the studio for a quick refresh mid-campaign.

Brand dinners from Coronado to Del Mar

Press dinners and client evenings move to properties such as Hotel del Coronado, Fairmont Grand Del Mar, Pendry San Diego, and The Lodge at Torrey Pines, or to a private residence in Rancho Santa Fe or Del Mar. We carry the collection's palette to the table, scale from a private dining room to a ballroom, and coordinate load-in and strike with the property's events team.

Frequently asked questions

Do you design florals for boutiques in La Jolla?+
Yes. We design windows and standing in-store programs for boutiques, jewelers, and galleries on Prospect Street and Girard Avenue, and across San Diego's other luxury retail districts.
Can you install at Westfield UTC or Fashion Valley?+
Yes. We confirm what center management and the store permit for windows, thresholds, and common areas, then stage the install through the dock on the center's schedule, before opening or after close.
How quickly can you refresh or fix an installation?+
Quickly. San Diego is our home market, so scheduled refreshes, same-day fixes, and last-minute additions are a short drive from the studio.
Can a San Diego store share a program with stores in Los Angeles or Orange County?+
Yes. We design multi-door programs on one concept and calendar across all three regions, with delivery and refresh scheduled per store.
How much lead time do you need?+
Four to eight weeks for a launch with an installation and a preview; a standing program can start within about a month. Holiday windows should be booked by late summer.
