Beauty and Fragrance Launch Florals

Florals built from the product's notes and palette, in rooms where the flowers never compete with the scent.

CHIC Flowers designs florals for beauty, skincare, and fragrance launches across Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego: press previews, creator events, counter launch days, and in-store activations. The brief starts with the product. If a fragrance opens on tuberose and settles into iris, those flowers are in the room, arranged so the composition reads as the scent made visible. We manage fragrance so the flowers frame the product without masking it, style the displays, and build gifting that leaves with the product.

Florals that translate the product

A launch floral should look like the product smells or feels. For a fragrance we work from the note pyramid: the top notes become the first thing a guest sees at the entrance, the heart notes carry the dining or display tables, and the base notes anchor the hero installation. For skincare and color cosmetics we work from the formula and the packaging instead, pulling the exact shade of a lipstick into ranunculus and garden roses or matching a serum's glass to the vessels on the table.

The result is a room that a guest can read without being told, and a set of photographs where the flowers and the product are visibly one idea.

Scent management

Fragrance launches have a rule other events do not: the room must smell like the product. We choose low-scent varieties for anything near the testing and spraying stations, keep the heavily scented flowers to the entrance and the photo moment where they are part of the story, and ventilate installations the night before so cut stems have settled. Where a brand wants no competing scent at all, we design in form and color alone, with unscented or very lightly scented blooms, and say so in the proposal.

Press previews and creator events

Press and creator events are built for the camera and for a short dwell time. We design one hero installation that frames the product for the wide shot, product-display styling that keeps every bottle or compact in focus with florals at the edges, and a set of smaller moments at the right height for a phone held at arm's length. Overnight installs and same-night strike are standard, and we work under NDA and embargo when a launch is not yet public.

Counters, beauty halls, and in-store days

An in-store launch day puts the florals inside a working store. We design counter-top pieces that stay clear of testers and transaction space, a backwall or vitrine moment that signals the launch from across the floor, and florals that hold for a full trading day under store lighting. At department stores and beauty halls we schedule installation around the store's opening and confirm access, display rules, and strike windows with the retailer.

Gifting with the product

Gifting that pairs the product with its florals extends the launch into the week after. We design wrapped stems or small arrangements in the launch palette that travel with the product box, or deliver signature arrangements to press and creators on a schedule across the three counties. Share the launch date, the venue or store, the product and its notes or shades, and the guest list size, and we will outline a scope and budget range for a complimentary consultation. Alona reviews every inquiry personally and responds within one business day.

Frequently asked questions

Will the flowers interfere with how the fragrance smells in the room?+
Not if they are chosen for it. We use low-scent varieties near testing and spraying stations and keep scented flowers to the entrance and photo moment, or design in form and color alone when the brand wants no competing scent.
Can you match the florals to our product's notes or shades?+
Yes. For a fragrance we work from the note pyramid; for skincare and color we work from the formula, the shades, and the packaging, and we confirm the match with samples before the event.
Do you work inside department stores and beauty halls?+
Yes. We install around the store's opening hours, keep counter pieces clear of testers and transaction space, and confirm access, display rules, and strike windows with the retailer.
Can you sign an NDA for an unannounced launch?+
Yes. We sign NDAs and work under embargo when a brand requires it, and the crew is briefed accordingly.
How much lead time does a beauty launch need?+
Four to eight weeks is comfortable for a press event or in-store day. Specialty blooms that match a specific note or shade may need to be ordered earlier, which we flag at the proposal stage.
