One partner for every season your property celebrates, from the November lobby tree to the Fourth of July deck.
CHIC Flowers designs and installs seasonal decor for luxury hotels and resorts across San Diego, Los Angeles, and Orange County. The anchor is the holiday season, Thanksgiving through New Year's, when the lobby, entrance, restaurants, and bars carry a single design story. Around it we build the rest of the year: Valentine's, Easter and spring, Mother's Day, summer and the Fourth of July, and, where a property wants them, Lunar New Year or Diwali. One studio, one calendar, structures we own and reuse.

A hotel's seasonal decor is a set of spaces, not a single piece. We design the lobby focal installation first, because it sets the palette for everything a guest sees afterward: the porte-cochere and entrance, the front desk, elevator lobbies, the restaurant host stand and bar, the lounge fireplace and mantels, and any ballroom pre-function space that hosts holiday events. Each space gets a scaled version of the same story so the property reads as one design from the driveway to the elevator.
The program also covers what guests do with the decor. A lobby tree or an entrance canopy becomes the property's photo moment for the season, so we design it to be photographed from the angle guests actually stand at, with lighting that works after dark.
The holiday season is the biggest install of the year, and it typically goes in the week before Thanksgiving, with fresh elements refreshed through December and a strike in the first week of January. From there the calendar runs: a Valentine's refresh in the restaurants and bar in early February, a spring and Easter install in March or April, Mother's Day in May, a summer scheme and the Fourth of July on the pool deck or lawn, and a return to the holiday install in November. Lunar New Year and Diwali are added for properties whose guests celebrate them.
Working from one calendar means the palette evolves rather than restarts: the winter white of December can soften into the pastels of spring using the same vessels and structures, which keeps the property consistent and the budget predictable.
We build installations on structures we own: tree frames, canopy armatures, garland bases, mantel forms, and photo-moment frames. They are stored between seasons and re-dressed each year, so the second and third years of a program cost less than the first and the property is never buying the same frame twice. Fresh florals, fresh greenery, and lighting are the renewable layer on top.
For multi-week installs we use fresh, dried, and high-quality faux elements in combination, so what guests touch and photograph looks right in week five, not only on install day. We confirm with the property and the fire marshal where fire-retardant treatment is required and source treated materials accordingly.
A hotel never closes, so we install overnight or in the quiet hours the property sets, in phases that keep the lobby usable, with the install path, staging area, and freight access agreed with the property's events and engineering teams in advance. Each piece is designed to go in and come out within its window, and strike follows the same plan.
