Restaurant and bar florals, rose installations with restraint, and a weekend program that sells out the dining room.
CHIC Flowers designs Valentine's Day florals for luxury hotel restaurants and bars and for brand Valentine's activations across San Diego, Los Angeles, and Orange County. The brief is usually the same: make the evening feel like an occasion without turning the room red. We do that with garden roses, ranunculus, and anemones in a palette chosen for the space, a photo moment at the entrance, table florals sized to a two-top, and, for a Galentine's night or a brand activation, a staffed build-your-own flower bar, all installed in the hours before service.

A Valentine's dinner is sold on the room, so the room has to deliver. We dress the host stand and entrance, run a focal piece along the bar or the banquette wall, and set each table with a low arrangement that leaves the sightline between two people clear. Candlelight does most of the work; the flowers are the texture. For a property running two or three seatings, we design tables that look right from the first seating to the last without a mid-service reset.
Roses belong to the night, but all-red is a greeting card. We work in garden roses, ranunculus, anemones, and sweet pea in blush, cream, burgundy, and oxblood, or in a single deep red used sparingly against black and gold. A rose installation at the entrance or over the bar reads as luxury when it is dense, monochrome, and scaled to the architecture, not when it is bright.
Because the whole industry buys roses the same week, we place rose orders weeks ahead and confirm quantities with the property early, which is the practical reason Valentine's programs are booked in January or earlier.
Guests photograph Valentine's, so we build one intentional moment: a floral arch at the restaurant entrance, a rose wall in the lobby, or a dressed banquette the property can share on its own channels. For brands running a Valentine's pop-up, press dinner, or in-store activation on Rodeo Drive, at Fashion Island, or at South Coast Plaza, the same thinking applies at a different scale: one hero installation built for the camera, product styling that sits inside the florals, and gifting arrangements for guests.
For a Galentine's evening in the bar, a brand pop-up, or a press dinner, a flower bar is the activation: a styled station of garden roses, ranunculus, and anemones with wrapping and ribbon in the property's or brand's palette, staffed by our designers so every guest leaves with a bouquet and a photograph. It works as the pre-dinner activity in a private dining room or as the centerpiece of a retail event, and it strikes in under an hour.
Valentine's falls mid-February and usually runs as a weekend program, so we install the restaurant and bar in the afternoon before the first seating and refresh for each following night. Share the outlets you want dressed, your seatings, and whether you want a flower bar, and we will outline a scope and budget range for a complimentary consultation.
