Mother's Day Luncheon and Brunch Florals for Hotels

Garden-style tables, a build-your-own flower bar, and tea and champagne service styled for the second-busiest brunch of the year.

CHIC Flowers designs Mother's Day brunch and luncheon florals for luxury hotels and resorts and Mother's Day events and gifting for high-end brands across San Diego, Los Angeles, and Orange County. The signature move is a flower bar: a styled station where mothers build a bouquet to take with them, staffed by our designers, so the florals become the experience and the gift. Around it: entrance and photo moments, tea and champagne service styling, and a garden palette of peonies in season, garden roses, and sweet pea, installed for a multi-seating service.

The Mother's Day flower bar

A Mother's Day brunch should send something home, and a flower bar does it better than a favor. We set a styled station in the dining room or on the terrace with buckets of peonies, garden roses, sweet pea, and ranunculus, wrapping paper and ribbon in the property's palette, and one or two of our designers to help guests build a bouquet. It becomes the photo moment, the activity between courses, and the gift, and it scales from a forty-cover tea to a three-seating brunch. For properties that prefer a seated gesture, we design classic garden centerpieces and place the bar in the lobby for departures.

Tea, champagne, and the garden palette

Mother's Day sits in May, which is peony season on the West Coast, and we lean into it: peonies, garden roses, sweet pea, and ranunculus in blush, coral, cream, and soft lavender, with plenty of fresh green. For a tea service we style the tiers and the tea station with small florals at eye level; for a champagne brunch, low arrangements that leave room for the bottle and the glasses.

The entrance gets the fuller piece: a garden arch or a dressed console that gives guests their photograph on the way in and tells the dining room what the afternoon will feel like.

Brand events and gifting

For brands hosting a Mother's Day luncheon, press breakfast, or in-store event, we design the room and the product styling and run a branded flower bar as the activation, with wrapping and ribbon in the brand's palette, so guests leave with a bouquet and a photograph. We can also deliver signature arrangements to clients and press on a schedule across the three counties.

Multiple seatings and the May calendar

Mother's Day brunch typically runs two or three seatings with a fast turn, so we install before the first seating, design tables that survive the turns, and restock the flower bar between seatings so each one finds it full. May is also peak wedding season in Southern California, which is why Mother's Day programs are confirmed in March or earlier so flower orders and crew are locked.

Usually, yes. Mid-May is peony season on the West Coast, and we confirm availability and pricing when the program is booked.
