Intimate luxury Indian and fusion weddings at Montecito's most storied hillside ranch.
San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito is one of California's most intimate luxury wedding destinations — a five-hundred-acre property of cottages, gardens, and the historic Stonehouse that has hosted celebrities, royalty, and high-profile Indian families for decades. CHIC Flowers designs Indian, South Asian, and fusion weddings here for smaller guest counts where the property's landscape-driven aesthetic can fully shape the design. Mandaps at San Ysidro are typically framed by mountain backdrop and ocean view, with palettes that integrate the property's native landscape rather than override it.

Venue facts
The Stonehouse lawn is San Ysidro Ranch's primary outdoor ceremony space — an intimate green set against the Santa Ynez Mountains with peekaboo ocean views. Mandap installations here work best at smaller scale: ten-by-ten or twelve-by-twelve four-pillar structures or contemporary round canopies. Floral palettes pull warm Mediterranean tones that complement the stone architecture and native landscape.
The Wheeler Room and adjacent indoor spaces accommodate intimate reception dinners and sangeet productions. Scale here is genuinely intimate — typically under one hundred twenty guests — which lets us invest installation complexity in detail rather than scale. Ceiling installations and tablescape density run higher at San Ysidro because the guest count supports per-guest investment.
Three- and four-day Indian weddings at San Ysidro typically use different property areas for each ceremony: the pool courtyard for mehndi, a cottage garden for haldi, the Stonehouse lawn for ceremony, the Wheeler Room or tent for reception. The property supports exclusive buyouts for multi-day celebrations, which locks out non-wedding guests and gives the family full use of cottages and grounds.
Outdoor havan is permitted at the Stonehouse lawn with Santa Barbara County fire permit. We coordinate permits through our production scope.
