Balboa Bay has a classic, nautical-elegant character — a yacht-club feel with a luxury-resort finish. Florals here suit that tone: crisp whites and ivories, navy or dusty-blue accents, hydrangea, roses, and clean greenery, in polished rather than wild shapes. For evening receptions, candlelight on the water-facing terraces does much of the work.
Waterfront ceremonies at Balboa Bay put the harbor behind the couple. We design arches and aisle florals that keep the view open, weighted for the bay breeze, and timed so the ceremony catches the best light over the water.
The resort's bay-view ballroom and terraces take a classic centerpiece program — tall and low arrangements, candlelight, and a head table facing the water — with palettes that pick up the blues and whites of the harbor.
We build suspended installations, floral walls, and entrance pieces for the ballroom, and move ceremony florals into the reception where it makes sense, on structures we own.
We coordinate timing, access, and the ceremony-to-reception move with the resort's events team and confirm any requirements at the walkthrough. Balboa Bay is one of several Newport Beach venues we design at regularly.
