Montage's architecture is warmer and more textural than most coastal resorts — exposed wood, stone, and craftsman detailing. Florals that work here have the same quality: garden roses, dahlias in season, textural greenery, and palettes of ivory, cream, and soft earth tones, or clean whites that let the ocean and the architecture speak. We design to the room and the light rather than to a template.
Oceanfront lawn ceremonies at Montage put the Pacific directly behind the couple. We design arches and aisle florals built for the bluff-top breeze and the bright coastal light, keeping structures open so the horizon stays visible, and choosing blooms that hold up in sun and salt air.
In the ballrooms, we design centerpiece programs that pair with the warm wood tones — mixed heights, candlelight, and a head table or sweetheart design that anchors the room. For terrace receptions, lower arrangements and lanterns suit the transition from sunset to evening.
We build suspended pieces over the dance floor, floral walls for photographs, and entrance installations, on structures we own, and plan ceremony pieces that can move into the reception.
