The sycamore allée ceremony
The double allée of sycamores is Beaulieu Garden's defining feature. For Indian ceremonies, we place the mandap at the far end of the allée so the bridal procession walks the full length of the tree-lined aisle toward the ceremony space. Mandap installations here are typically contemporary round or open four-pillar structures that frame the valley backdrop behind them rather than closing off the view.
Palettes for allée ceremonies draw on the natural landscape: warm garden tones, dusty rose, saffron, with marigold and jasmine providing cultural grounding. Dense traditional coverage is de-emphasized in favor of installation that harmonizes with the sycamore setting.
