Our studio is in downtown San Diego, so Jewish weddings in La Jolla and across the county are local for us — no travel fees, easy site visits, and a team that knows the county's venues well. We own our ceremony structures in-house, so we build custom chuppahs rather than relying on third-party rentals.

La Jolla and the coastal communities to its north are home to San Diego's largest concentration of Jewish families, and weddings here often combine a synagogue or oceanfront ceremony with a resort reception.

Oceanfront chuppahs

A chuppah on a cliff or lawn above the Pacific is one of the most requested San Diego ceremonies. Coastal wind and afternoon light shape the design: we engineer the structure to stay stable in a sea breeze, choose blooms that hold up in sun and salt air, and orient the chuppah so the ocean sits behind the couple in photos.

Popular coastal settings include La Jolla resorts such as the Lodge at Torrey Pines and La Valencia Hotel, Del Mar properties, and the Windsor Lawn at Hotel del Coronado.

Synagogues and kosher coordination

We design ceremonies at La Jolla and San Diego congregations and at resorts across the county, confirming each synagogue's and venue's floral guidelines before finalizing the design. For kosher catering, we coordinate installation timing and access with the venue and the mashgiach.

For Saturday-night weddings, we pre-build as much as possible and schedule on-site work around Shabbat, according to the couple's and venue's observance.
