What the flowers cost — including what a custom chuppah runs.
Jewish wedding flowers in California generally range from about $15,000 for an intimate celebration to $55,000 or more for a large wedding with a custom chuppah and full reception design. The chuppah alone typically runs $2,500 to $12,000 or more depending on its structure and floral coverage. This guide breaks the ranges down so you can budget with real numbers.

Three factors move the budget most. The chuppah — its structure and how fully it's covered in flowers — is usually the signature line item. Guest count drives the number of centerpieces, typically the largest total. And the reception design — installations, aisle, entrance — scales with ambition and venue size.
Kosher-venue and Shomer Shabbat coordination can add labor cost, because compressed setup windows sometimes require a larger install team working in a tighter timeframe.
A four-post chuppah with elegant corner clusters typically runs $2,500 to $5,000. A more fully dressed chuppah — heavier coverage on the canopy and posts — runs $5,000 to $9,000. A fully covered or suspended chuppah, the most dramatic, runs $9,000 to $12,000 or more depending on size and the venue's rigging requirements.
Where we repurpose the chuppah or its florals at the reception, the effective cost drops because the piece works twice.
Beyond the chuppah, ceremony florals — aisle, ketubah table, bedeken and kiddush styling — typically add $2,000 to $6,000. The reception, driven by centerpieces and any installations, is usually the largest portion of the total.
Tall or elaborate centerpieces generally run $250 to $700 each, so a wedding's guest count and table count strongly shape the reception figure.
Intimate (~150 guests): roughly $15,000 to $22,000 — a four-post chuppah, aisle and ketubah styling, and centerpieces for about 15 tables.
Classic (~250 guests): roughly $20,000 to $36,000 — a fuller chuppah, complete ceremony styling, and centerpieces for around 25 tables.
Grand (400+ guests): roughly $42,000 to $65,000 and up — a fully covered or suspended chuppah, full reception installations, and 40-plus tables of centerpieces.
