Estate, ranch, and resort chuppahs in the west Valley and the Conejo.
CHIC Flowers designs luxury Jewish weddings in Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Agoura Hills, and Westlake Village — freestanding chuppahs for private estates and canyon ranches, resort ceremonies at the Four Seasons Westlake Village and the Westlake Village Inn, and full reception florals. The west Valley has a large and growing Jewish community, including many Persian-Jewish and Israeli families, and its weddings lean toward open sky, oak trees, and estate grounds rather than hotel ballrooms.

Many couples here marry at home or at a family estate in Hidden Hills or one of Calabasas's gated communities. An estate chuppah is freestanding, weighted for the afternoon canyon wind, and sized to the lawn and the ceremony party. We plan with the planner and rental team — power, load-in through residential gates, tenting, lighting, and a rain plan — and because an estate has no house inventory, every element arrives with us, which is why we build chuppahs on structures we own.
Calamigos Ranch, Malibu Rocky Oaks, and Saddlerock Ranch over the hill in Malibu, Hummingbird Nest Ranch, the Four Seasons Westlake Village, the Westlake Village Inn, and the North Ranch and Sherwood country clubs in the Conejo Valley are the venues west Valley couples ask about most.
At a ranch or vineyard venue the chuppah shares the frame with oaks, vines, or a lake, so we design it open and airy and let the landscape finish it. At a resort or club we scale it to the lawn or ballroom and plan the ceremony-to-reception move with the venue team, confirming each property's floral guidelines before the design is final.
For couples marrying at a congregation in Calabasas, Woodland Hills, or West Hills and celebrating elsewhere, we design chuppah pieces that transfer to the reception and run both installs on one timeline. Saturday-night weddings follow Havdalah, which in summer falls late and compresses the setup window; in winter the ceremony can begin earlier. Where the congregation or venue restricts work on Shabbat, we schedule the install around it.
Oaks, golden hills, and canyon light suit garden-style palettes — ivory, cream, blush, and sage — that photograph well against the landscape. Summer afternoons are hot, so we favor heat-tolerant blooms and install as late as the schedule allows; evenings cool quickly, and candlelight and lanterns carry the reception. Persian-Jewish couples here often add a sofreh aghd, which we design as one composition with the chuppah.
