Our studio is in downtown San Diego, so Indian weddings anywhere in the county are local for us — no travel fees, easy site walkthroughs, and installation crews who can stay on site across a multi-day celebration. We own our mandap structures in-house, so we build custom designs rather than relying on third-party rentals.

San Diego's Indian community is concentrated in areas such as Carmel Valley, Rancho Bernardo, and Mira Mesa, and many families choose to celebrate close to home at a coastal resort.

Coronado, Del Mar, La Jolla, and Carlsbad

Hotel del Coronado offers oceanfront mandaps on the Windsor Lawn and receptions in its historic ballrooms. The Fairmont Grand Del Mar pairs a canyon-view ceremony lawn with ballroom receptions. La Jolla's resorts put the Pacific behind the mandap, and Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad offers room for multi-day hotel-block weddings.

Each venue has its own fire rules, baraat route, and load-in windows. We plan them with the venue from the first walkthrough.

Oceanfront mandaps and fire permits

An oceanfront mandap is one of the most requested San Diego designs. Coastal wind affects both the structure and the havan fire, so we build weighted mandaps with protective windscreens and plan an indoor backup with the venue.

Open-flame rules vary by venue and require fire-department coordination. We confirm the requirements early so the ceremony can go ahead as planned.
