Malibu Rocky Oaks is a private vineyard estate on a hilltop in the Santa Monica Mountains, famous for its Tuscan-style villa, its helipad ceremony site, and views that stretch across the vineyards to the hills. Rocky Oaks is all about the view and the vineyard, so florals here should frame rather than fill. We design in a Tuscan-inspired palette — ivory and white with olive, eucalyptus, and vine textures, warm neutrals, and touches of apricot or dusty rose — with shapes that stay low and open where the horizon matters and rise taller on the terraces for the evening.
The estate's hilltop ceremony sites are exposed and breezy, with the mountains on every side. We design ceremony structures that are weighted and engineered for wind, kept open so the 360-degree view stays the backdrop, with blooms that hold up in sun and dry mountain air.
Terrace and vineyard-side receptions suit a garden-style centerpiece program — mixed heights, olive and vine greenery, candlelight and lanterns — with a long head table or sweetheart design looking out over the vines.
