Kiddush Table Flowers Under the Chuppah

The small table that holds the wine, the rings, and the glass.

Under the chuppah stands a small table with the kiddush cup and wine, the rings, the ketubah for reading, and the glass the groom will break. It is in almost every ceremony photograph, so it deserves styling — but it has to stay practical for the rabbi. CHIC Flowers designs the kiddush table with a low floral touch, a linen in the wedding palette, and room for everything the ceremony needs.

What goes on the table

The kiddush cup and wine (used twice during the ceremony), the rings, the ketubah, and the wrapped glass for breaking. Some couples add a second cup, a candle, or a family heirloom. The rabbi needs to reach everything easily, so the table cannot be crowded with flowers.

Styling it

We keep the florals low and at the front or one side of the table — a small arrangement or a short runner of blooms that ties into the chuppah. A linen or runner in the wedding palette and a decorative tray for the rings and glass finish the look. The table itself is often provided by the venue; we can also supply a small round or rectangular table that suits the chuppah design.

Coordinating with the chuppah

Because the table sits under the chuppah, we design it as part of the chuppah rather than as a separate piece — the same flowers, the same palette, sized so it complements the structure without competing with it.

Frequently asked questions

What is on the table under the chuppah?+
The kiddush cup and wine, the rings, the ketubah, and the wrapped glass for breaking, sometimes with a candle or heirloom.
How do you decorate the kiddush table?+
With a low arrangement or short floral runner at the front or side, a linen in the wedding palette, and a tray for the rings and glass, all matched to the chuppah.
Do you provide the table?+
The venue usually does, but we can supply a small table that suits the chuppah design if needed.
Can the flowers get in the rabbi's way?+
Not if the design is right. We keep florals low and to one side so the rabbi can reach the cup, rings, and glass easily.
