A Protestant ceremony with an Armenian reception.
Armenian Evangelical weddings are held in Protestant congregations — the Armenian Evangelical churches of Glendale, Pasadena, Hollywood, and the Valley — with a ceremony that is simpler and shorter than the Apostolic rite and gives more freedom in how the front of the church is designed. The reception, though, is fully Armenian. CHIC Flowers designs Armenian Evangelical weddings from the sanctuary to the ballroom.

An Armenian Evangelical ceremony typically includes hymns, scripture readings, vows, and the exchange of rings, led by the pastor, without the crowning or narod of the Apostolic rite. It usually runs 30 to 45 minutes. Many congregations have fewer restrictions on florals than Apostolic or Catholic churches, so an arch, a floral installation at the front, or aisle petals are often possible. We confirm with each church.
With more freedom at the front, couples often choose a floral arch or a pair of tall arrangements as the ceremony backdrop, aisle markers along the pews, and an entrance arrangement. We design in the same palette as the reception so the day feels connected, and plan which pieces move to the ballroom.
The reception follows Armenian tradition: a lavash-and-honey welcome, a sweetheart stage, tall centerpieces, and a night of dancing. We design at the scale Armenian receptions expect, at venues across Glendale, Pasadena, and the Valley.
