The Armenian rite in a Catholic church, and a reception that is fully Armenian.
Armenian Catholic weddings follow the Armenian rite — including the crowning — in communion with Rome, and are held at Armenian Catholic parishes such as St. Gregory the Illuminator in Glendale. The ceremony feels familiar to Apostolic families, with some differences in the liturgy and church setting, and the reception is every bit as grand. CHIC Flowers designs Armenian Catholic weddings from the church to the ballroom across Los Angeles, Glendale, and the Valley.

The Armenian Catholic Church shares the Armenian rite with the Apostolic Church, so the crowning, the narod, and much of the ceremony are the same. The main differences are that the church is in communion with Rome, some prayers and the liturgy differ, and a mixed marriage with a Roman Catholic partner can be straightforward. Couples with one Roman Catholic and one Armenian partner often choose an Armenian Catholic parish for this reason.
We design altar and aisle florals within the parish's guidelines — Armenian Catholic churches, like Apostolic ones, have rules about what may be placed near the altar. The crowning-table setting, entrance arrangements, and pew or aisle markers follow the same approach as an Apostolic ceremony, and we confirm each parish's requirements before finalizing the design.
The reception is where an Armenian Catholic wedding looks exactly like any other Armenian wedding: a lavash-and-honey welcome, a sweetheart stage, tall gold-and-crystal centerpieces, and a ballroom full of family. We design it at the scale these celebrations expect, at venues across Glendale, Hollywood, and the Valley.
