Styling the grand entrance that announces the couple's arrival.
The zaffe is the electric procession that announces the couple's arrival at an Arab wedding — drummers, dancers, and a grand entrance into the reception. CHIC Flowers styles the path: doorway installations, aisle florals, and pathway design that turn the zaffe into a showpiece moment building to the kosha reveal. We design zaffe entrances for Arab weddings across Los Angeles, Orange County, and Anaheim.

The zaffe (or zaffa) is the traditional Arab wedding procession — a high-energy entrance led by drummers, often with dancers and performers, that brings the bride and groom into the reception. It is one of the most memorable moments of the night, and the decor along the path amplifies it.
We work alongside your zaffe performers, designing the floral setting they move through; the performance is theirs, the pathway and entrance decor is ours.
The doorway the couple enters through is the first big visual beat of the zaffe. We design flanking installations, arches, or an overhead entrance moment that frames the couple as they appear and sets the tone for the room beyond.
These entrance pieces are also strong candidates for coordinating with the kosha palette, so the whole sequence reads as one design.
From the entrance to the kosha, the couple travels a path — and dressing it heightens the drama. Depending on the venue and the choreography, that can mean pathway florals, aisle markers, or lined arrangements that guide the procession toward the stage.
We plan the pathway with your planner and performers so the florals frame the moment without impeding the drummers and dancers.
The zaffe's destination is the kosha, so we design the two together: the entrance and pathway build anticipation, and the couple's arrival at the floral stage is the payoff. Coordinating the palette, scale, and lighting across both makes the sequence cinematic rather than disjointed.
