Price ranges for the bridal stage, from the florist who builds it.
A custom kosha in California typically costs $8,000 to $30,000 or more. A modest stage with a floral backdrop and styled seating sits at the low end; a 24-foot fresh-flower wall, canopy, floral columns, and custom seating for a 500-guest ballroom sits at the top. CHIC Flowers builds koshas for Arab weddings across Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego, and this guide explains what drives the price.

Size is the biggest factor: the kosha has to be scaled to the room, and a large ballroom needs a wide, tall stage to read as the focal point. Floral density is second — a fully covered fresh-flower backdrop costs far more than draping with floral accents. Then come the extras: a canopy or arch over the seating, floral columns, custom seating or a loveseat, lighting integrated into the design, and stairs or a platform.
A modest kosha — a 12- to 16-foot backdrop with draping and floral accents, styled seating, and a pair of arrangements — typically runs $8,000 to $12,000. A classic kosha with a 16- to 20-foot backdrop of mixed fresh flowers and greenery, columns, and a canopy runs $12,000 to $20,000. A grand kosha with a 24-foot or wider fresh-flower wall, full canopy, and custom seating runs $20,000 to $30,000 and beyond.
Some venues and rental companies offer a pre-built kosha structure that can be dressed with flowers. That saves on the structure but limits the shape and size. A custom kosha is built to your room and your design. Because we own our structures, custom builds do not carry a separate rental fee, and the difference in cost comes down to the flowers and labor.
The kosha is usually 30 to 40 percent of the floral budget at an Arab wedding, with centerpieces, the zaffe entrance, and flower walls making up the rest. To manage cost without losing impact, concentrate fresh flowers on the center of the backdrop and around the seating, use greenery and draping on the edges, and reuse the kosha as a photo backdrop for guests during the night.
